From the rugged coastline of Britanny to
the heat of Languedoc, from a cottage by the sea to a manoir
in the Midi - there's nothing quite like a self-catering holiday
in France. Climate, gastronomie, joie de vivre,
timeless relaxation by the pool, local markets and fresh produce
- France really does have so much to offer. That's why holidaymakers
return to France year after year to stay in privately-rented
holiday homes and country houses. The ease of access, shorter
traveling times, cheaper ferry crossings and superb autoroutes
have made France the ideal holiday destination for many.
Bonnes-Vacances.co.uk brings you part of
that French experience ~ an ever-growing selection of holiday
properties (gites, farmhouses, manor houses, villas,
cottages - even chateaux!) offering you the chance to enjoy
yourself. Whilst we cannot personally visit every property on
this web site to inspect, we do have very strict policies regarding
the standards of accommodation offered by the owners. This means
that you can book your holiday accommodation in confidence through
Bonnes Vacances.co.uk.
Searching is easy. Just select the region
where you are interested in staying, how many there are in your
group or family, whether a pool is essential for your holiday
and the maximum you want to pay. Click on search and you're
just minutes away from booking your holiday!

France can be 'roughly' divided
into 4 sectors - northern France, western France, south-west
France and south-east France.
The popular holiday destinations
tend be clustered around Britanny, Normandy and the lovely Loire
valley in the north, the Charente and Charente Maritime (known
as the Poitou-Charentes) along the western coast with its sub-tropical
climate and miles of beautiful unspoilt sandy beaches, the Limousin
(including the Dordogne département), the Midi
(Pyrenees) which stretches from the Lot in the north down to
the mountains and their border with Spain, Aquitaine (which
includes Bordeaux and the famous vineyards of St. Emilion, St.
Estephe and Medoc to name but a few!), the Languedoc (with its
wonderful golden orange coloured soils, warm climate and historical
Cathars country) and the French riviera from Marseille east
to the Italian border.
However, some of the most exciting
parts of France are those undiscovered, less popular corners
such as the beautiful Auvergne, the Rhone-Alpes and some of
the départements in the centre and Limousin
regions such as the Correze, the Vienne and the Haute-Vienne.
We think you'll love France wherever you choose!
