Les Figuiers is a light and spacious stone farmhouse with three good-sized bedrooms and beamed ceilings throughout. There’s a large private garden at the back overlooking an orchard. At the front is a patio and big courtyard with plenty of parking space. Washing machine and BBQ & furniture are stored in the garage.
Upstairs: 2 double bedrooms (one with a cot) with wardrobes and dressing tables & bedside tables. 1 bedroom with twin beds and cupboard & bedside tables.
Downstairs: One big traditional open-plan room with a huge fireplace (logs provided), well-equipped kitchen (gas cooker, large fridge-freezer, microwave), and big dining table for 8. The lounge area has a settee, rocking chair, TV with English programs, video player (and some videos), DVD player and CD player. A shower room with shower and wash basin and separate toilet. There’s also a corner area with a sofabed, some games and small library.

Location: The tiny rural hamlet, “Elm tree ford”, is situated 5 minutes by car from Lessay and Creances in the Cotentin Regional Nature Park near the Ay estuary, about 50 minutes from Cherbourg. There are miles of vast beaches within 5 minutes by car, most are natural and undeveloped, but others nearby like Pirou have cafes, shops and
excellent restaurants. Normandy is a sea-food paradise! Plenty of interesting places to visit nearby, wonderful markets and picturesque villages to visit.
